Spring maternity session in Majik Forest, Durbanville | Celeste

Earlier this year, when Celeste and her husband found out they were expecting their first child, they contacted me to book a Maternity and Newborn Package.

Since then, I’ve spoken with Celeste regularly to check in on her pregnancy progress. As always, I’ve become really invested in their story! I believe it’s this personal connection that helps me best capture a couple, and it helps them feel comfortable in my company.

We had such fun at their maternity session, captured in the beautiful Majik Forest in Durbanville. The duo were just full of heart and emotions as their world is about to shift from a couple to a family.

Celeste looked radiant and Spring-fresh in a flowing, yellow maxi-dress, and I loved that her hubby was rocking a complimentary blue checkered shirt. Both comfortable and stylish! I share some top tips on what to wear for your Maternity Photo Session in this blog post.

I am so looking forward to seeing this happy couple again - this time for their Newborn Photo Session. They will be brand new parents!

Celeste will contact me once she is home from the hospital and feeling stronger ,both physically and emotionally. Then we will book their at-home session. It’s so wonderful to be able to document a session at home, so that both baby and Celeste can be as comfortable and content as they can be.

I believe moms should never feel rushed during a shoot like this. We keep the session light and gentle and work around your baby’s routine, taking regular breaks to accommodate feeding and nappy changes. It’s really as gentle and relaxed as it looks on my images!

Since I run an exclusive, boutique service, I book only two or three clients per month. This ensures that I really have the time to dedicate all my reserves to giving the best to my clients and share in their excitement. I love celebrating and being a part of this journey with each and every one of my clients!

For now, enjoy Celeste’s sensational forest maternity session:
