Whenever I have a client who isn’t sure she wants a maternity session, I always encourage having one. Although your maternity months can feel long and even a little uncomfortable when the pregnancy symptoms hit hard, in retrospect it feels really fleeting.

Soon, the time will come when your little miracle is out in the world figuring out what the world is all about. And you’ll be super busy figuring out this best parenting hacks for problems you didn’t even know were problems! You’ll hardly remember ever being pregnant, so it’s so important to document it.

Also, there is something intrinsically beautiful about being pregnant… During this dreamy sunset beach photo session, I couldn’t quite tell which was more glowing - Elrisa or the sunset!

Elrisa hired the most divine dress that was so stunningly suited to the golden sunset over the beach! Hubby looked absolutely dashing in a classic white shirt and chinos. And of course, love was in the air! The couple are so clearly happy in love, and their excitement about the arrival of their little one is palpable…

Even though we were a bit worried about the wind which picked up in the late afternoon, we really made it work in our favour: We managed to create some gorgeous images, with Elrisa’s dress blowing dramatically in the wind! All I can say is WOW!!!

How very special that they will one day be able to share these precious moments with their child…
