Quadruple meet-the-family photo session

With such an incredible sunrise beach maternity session and unique emergency c-section birth story, it was no surprise that this little angel’s meet-the-family session was just as amazing!

What made it really special, is that we had four different family sessions booked! The extended family’s excitement was just all too much for one day, and some members were flying in specially from Germany too.

The first instalment was documented right outside the hospital as Tess and Patrick were leaving with their brand new baby girl. Her Great Grandfather lives just around the corner from the hospital, and dropped by specially to meet the new arrival, since Covid restrictions did not allow any hospital visitors indoors.

It was a touching first encounter, and one that I’ll certainly remember for a long time to come! The eldest of the family meeting the youngest, in an embrace of tears, joy and all the feels that a moment as special as this can possible bring!

We then met with Granny and Uncle who flew in from abroad to meet the new arrival in Cape Town. They gushed over the precious pink foot!

We did a follow-up session when Grandpa could join as well, and then we booked a session with German Oma and Opa.

It was such a great pleasure to witness the complete awe and immediate love that this tiny little miracle evoked amongst her family. I’m so proud and pleased to have captured these precious memories - they are going to last a lifetime!
