Christmas shared anew

This feeling is quite surreal — the crazy idea that I won’t be alone this Christmas. For so long I have shared it with just my three children. It has been magical watching their excitement grow each Christmas as they get older. Watching their shining, hopeful eyes as they open their presents.

But this Christmas I get to share that joy with Stef, and I cannot wait! It feels like I received my own Christmas wish this season and I am most certainly as joyful and sparkly as the children are when they wake up at 5am on the morning of 25 December.

I don’t know if your Christmas shopping is done or how your family works things out, but I try collect items throughout the year. I feel like I have two Christmas seasons with the children, because their birthdays are so close together… Oh, you missed that part of my life? Let me quickly bring you up to speed: 3, 4 and 5 May are my children’s birthdays. Shocking right?! Tell me about it.

So, as you can imagine life gets pretty chaotic twice a year in the gift department in my home, so I try to have a consistent rhythm of gift collecting to avoid a shock. But sometimes, as a busy, working mom, I still get caught out every so often!

I’ve added some images of our annual Christmas Tree decorating shoot for you. This year, it includes a bonus person that I found along my journey this year…

Merry Christmas to all of my wonderful clients and followers. May you all rest peacefully this season and feel loved wholeheartedly!

Lots of love,
Kristen
