Baby cuddles: At home newborn session | Charné

What a lovely way to wrap up of a client’s journey: From her Babylonstoren baby shower session, to a wonderful c-section delivery (Coming soon - watch this space!). But before I share the birth story, I just had to melt your hearts with Charné’s sweetest home newborn session with her brand new baby boy.

It was so lovely to see mom and son finding their rhythm and settling into a routine. Their mutual comfort and affection is palpable and beautiful! Nestled in the greenery of Constantia, surrounded by the peace and nurturing of his mommy’s touch... What more could a newborn baby ask for?!

Of course, Charné and I did get some chatting in, and I always love how rewarding it is to be a support and a friend along the way. In turn, my clients offer me so much support and friendship too, and it is one of the fabulous reasons why I love what I do so much.
